There have been a lot of firsts this year.  A lot of rethinking what it means to love one another.  Life has been challenging on levels none of us have ever experienced before or hopefully will ever again!

Thanksgiving has always been an opportunity to gather and give thanks for the joyful things in our lives.  For us, it has been a family time with the kids to enjoy a huge turkey dinner, play board games and relax.  This year will be different on some levels and yet maybe even more special because of the choices we are making.

Chuck and I will spend the day alone at the Haven.  We will cook a meal, call the kids and give thanks that we are all still here.  There is much to be joyful and thankful for in just those two aspects of our lives.

We will not gather.  We will not follow tradition.  We will love harder than ever before because we can - just differently.

We are thankful for each of you that have entered our lives through the Brass.

Stay safe my friends.
