Hold on tight....the ride continues!

As a result of the climbing cases of deaths related to the pandemic and at the request of the Illinois Department of Health, we are temporarily closing our doors for in store visits and shopping.  The safety of our customers, our staff and our family takes priority during these tough times.
This was not an easy decision to make as we have loved inviting you back into the shop these last few weeks, but it is the right one.  Our community matters and we feel a responsibility to do the right thing by limiting exposure to each other to try to get control of this virus.
We will continue to be open 24/7 online and will offer curbside pick up Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday between 10-1.  If you cannot make these times, please email us at info.brassoctopus@gmail.com and we will work to find an alternate time for you.
Updated curbside policy:
Call the shop and wait in your car.  When you see us set your package on the table set up out front then put on a mask and retrieve your package.  Please do not congregate outside the shop.  Please wait in your vehicle.  Please note we only have one phone line and if it just continues to ring - we are in the other line and working as fast as we can to get to you.  We will work to keep our phone conversation brief so no one has to wait for long.

If you have any questions about products or alternate times, please email us and do not call so that we can keep our phone line open for curbside customers.

We are all in this together.  Please help to control this virus by doing your part to stay home as much as you can during the next three weeks and limiting contact with others when you go out.  We are trying hard to make a difference and we encourage you to do the same.
Please stay safe.  We will get through this.  Much love to all.

  • I just wanted to tell you how fantastic my folded star projects turned out with the Timeless treasure fabrics and the other star with Paloma by Alexander Henry. Thanks for being there for my fabric creations! Stay safe and enthused about your products! We’ll get through this trying time together.

  • Thanks for putting people first. You are doing the right thing, difficult but necessary. Your videos make me chuckle and I will continue to shop online with you. Good luck and stay safe.
